Farke is a superb proposition given his Championship-winning experience with Norwich City at this level and his knack for an attractive and expansive brand for football which the Leeds United fans are desperate for.

Corberan because of his former experience with the club under Marcelo Bielsa, will always win the hearts of those within the club and his tremendous jobs at Huddersfield Town and West Brom will have left the Elland Road hierarchy drooling.

Parker must not be counted out either, after the terrific jobs he’s done at Fulham and Bournemouth and he would represent a sensible bet for the American investors to exploit should they fail to acquire their preferred candidates for the role.

In other Leeds United news, doubts have emerged within the 49ers investment group over whether the Whites’ buy-out is the right move.
