Leeds United man Mateusz Klich handed Poland call-up
Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has been called up for Poland’s latest set of international fixtures.
The 31-year-old was confirmed as part of the squad in a tweet from Poland’s official account, and he has the chance to add to his 36 caps for his country.
Klich has been in and out of Marcelo Bielsa’s starting XI this season, but it seems as if he remains a key player for his country.
A chance for Kilch to find some form?
The 31-year-old has started seven league games this season and has struggled to produce any sort of form.
In those games, he has a WhoScored rating of just 6.63 and has only scored one goal and provided an assist.
Despite this, he has been a Bielsa stalwart for a long time and has been described as “wonderful” by David Prutton in the past [Yorkshire Evening Post].

So, he has it in him to improve and play well for the Whites and perhaps a break away with his country is exactly what he needs to rediscover that form that made him such a crucial player for the Whites.
It is not as if the Whites are blessed with options in the middle of the park, so you could argue that they need to regularly get more out of Klich.
Therefore, this is an opportunity for him to find some form and return to Elland Road, ready to help his side move up the table.
In other Leeds United news, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been blown away by one Leeds man this season.
