Leeds United man Junior Firpo predicted to be ready to face Liverpool
Leeds United defender Junior Firpo has been predicted to have recovered from Covid and be ready to play against Liverpool.
Leeds Live claim that the 25-year-old was self-isolating after testing positive for Covid, but he should have recovered in time to return after the international break.
Covid has disrupted Firpo’s start to life with Leeds as he played 45 minutes against Manchester United on the opening day and 60 minutes against Everton.

Firpo to return.
This sounds like good news for the Whites, who used Stuart Dallas at left-back in the last league game while Firpo was recovering. However, it does appear as if he will be back and ready to play against the Reds.
Of course, Marcelo Bielsa will confirm whether Firpo will be available or not in his pre-match press conference, but we would be very surprised if the left-back were to miss another game.

The defender is a new signing from Barcelona and has been praised by Champions League winner Eric Abidal who believes that he could be one of the best left-backs in the world, so we are excited to see more of him [Tribuna].
However, his debut was a harsh game to judge him on as the Whites collapsed in the second half. Hopefully, we will get another chance to judge him on Sunday against equally tough opposition in Liverpool.
That should unleash the likes of Dallas into midfield, and in turn lead to one of our strongest XI’s on the field in front of a packed Elland Road yet again.
In other Leeds United news, the club have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of another teenage sensation.
