Leeds United share Joe Rodon and Lionel Messi announcement in surprise reveal
Leeds United defender Joe Rodon seems to be making headlines across the world.
Rodon has been in immense form for Leeds this season, not missing a single minute of their Premier League campaign so far.
The Elland Road outfit have been able to rely on Rodon so far, whether he has Pascal Struijk or Jaka Bijol playing next to him.
Whites supporters are not the only ones taking notice of the Wales international after his impressive recent exploits.

Leeds share surprise reveal involving Rodon and Lionel Messi
Rodon would probably never have expected to be named in the same breath as Lionel Messi, probably the greatest footballer to ever grace the earth.
Leeds took to their official X account on 12 December to share that Rodon was the most viewed player on Fbref in Buenos Aires.
The Whites named popular Argentinian players such as Messi, Julian Alvarez and former Leeds-linked ace Rodrigo de Paul before revealing that the answer was actually the 28-year-old.

Why are Argentinians obsessed with Rodon?
The fact that Rodon is the most searched player in the Argentinian capital is a suprising development, and it seems to make no sense, initially.
Argentina have not played Wales in any international competition recently, and the Dragons are not set to be in their World Cup group.
The defending champions will face Algeria, Austria and Jordan in the group stages at the tournament in the United States, while Wales, if they progress through their play-off, will be in a group with Canada, Qatar and Switzerland.
A bit of further research reveals the potential reason why he is so popular in the country though, as there is a relatively big Welsh population in Argentina.
Welsh colonists settled in the Chubut valley in the Patagonia area in 1865, with the government granting them the official title to the land in 1875, and more settlers following later.
Modern estimates believe around 70,000 people of Welsh descent are based in the settlement, which may explain the surprise reveal.
It is still strange that he is ahead of the likes of Messi, Alvarez and De Paul, but it is less of a mystery than it originally seemed.
