Leeds United make decision on shirt sponsorship with Adidas
Leeds United and Adidas have agreed to extend their kit manufacturing deal until at least the 2025–26 season, according to Footy Headlines.
The online news outlet reported via sources reported on 1 October that the German company – worth multiple billions of pounds – will continue to make United’s kits next season, while also having an option to extend their sponsorship deal further in the future.
The Whites began their partnership with Adidas in 2020 following promotion to the Premier League under Marcelo Bielsa, and the deal continued despite the club’s relegation three seasons later.
Adidas will want to stay on board after Leeds United developments
The Peacocks procuring a sponsorship deal with one of football’s ‘big two’ kit manufacturers was a headline move to coincide with their return to the Premier League, and the club continue to think big.
Despite being relegated in 2023 and failing to win promotion back to the top flight a year later, the club have still been able to secure record-breaking sponsorship deals, such as the current one with Red Bull.

Featuring one of the world’s most recognisable brands on the front of the shirts of one of football’s sleeping giants, United’s Adidas-made kits continue to to be sought-after in spite of relegation.
With the club recently announcing plans to expand Elland Road to 53,000, it’s clear that should United return to the Premier League next season, they are a club clearly going places in the near future.
Therefore, Adidas agreeing to extend their sponsorship deal makes sense, and if Daniel Farke’s side take the Championship by storm – particularly in their eye-catching yellow away kit – fans will flock to the German giants asking for more.
In other Leeds United news, Daniel Farke has expressed concerns over one United star’s future ahead of the January transfer window.
