Leeds United make £3million offer for Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsay
Leeds United have submitted a bid in the region of £3million to Aberdeen for 18-year-old right-back Calvin Ramsey, according to Sky Sports Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Serie A side Bologna have also submitted an offer at a similar value but Leeds currently hold the advantage of offering a loan back option to the Scottish Premiership side.
Bologna’s offer is also for an initial loan worth £1million before an obligation to buy for £4million in the summer but Aberdeen are thought to want the money upfront.
The Italian side already have a Scottish full-back in the shape of Aaron Hickey but with reports linking him with a move away from the Rossoblu, they are looking to Scotland once again for his replacement.
Full steam ahead
This late in the transfer window, there is no time for waiting to be sure, Leeds just need to go all-in and now to try and get Ramsay if they really want him.

He broke into the Aberdeen team late last season and has been a regular for them this campaign as they chase a spot in the Championship group when the league splits.
He recently returned from injury and he’s looked every bit the player he was before the setback since his return and that is a quality Marcelo Bielsa will really like.
He has his own injury problems at Elland Road right now but right-back is not one of the main problem areas so loaning the teenager back to the Dons is a major string to their bow in this race.
With Bologna wanting him right now, they will need to seriously usurp Leeds’ offer if they are to get Ramsay and it seems unlikely that they can given the Premier League money the Whites have been accumulating.
