Leeds United: Major issue emerges in Marc Roca Real Betis move amid Al Nassr development
Real Betis’ attempt to sell William Carvalho has proven to be a “major issue” in their pursuit of Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca, according to ABC Sevilla.
Football League World reported on 10 June that the 26-year-old was in advanced negotiations with the La Liga side.
However, it’s believed Betis lack the financial “details” to polish off a deal for the Leeds United midfielder (ABC, 20 June).

Carvalho’s departure to Al Nassr is understood to be having an impact with Betis eager to recoup £8.5million for the 31-year-old.
The Portuguese midfielder is one of the highest earners in Sevilla and is currently negotiating with the Saudi Arabian club.

Leeds will be looking to move Roca on as soon as possible.
The Spaniard has been a largely disappointing addition and is probably on a significant wage at Elland Road.
The board must be clever heading into the new Championship campaign with there still being several Premier League high-earners at the club.
Roca should move on. Rodrigo is another obvious candidate to depart. The striker is coming off winning the Nations League with Spain and won’t be happy playing in the second tier of English football.

Tyler Adams is another name who could move on. The American has been attracting interest from Premier League clubs – and after his impressive form last season, there’s no reason why he wouldn’t be well-suited to a return to the top flight.
Leeds should be looking to keep hold of the likes of Willy Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville for the upcoming campaign. The pair are still developing and could thrive in the Championship.
An interesting couple of weeks could be in store as pre-season hones into view.
