'Best I've seen' - Hull signing blown away by 'mad' part of Leeds' 4-0 win at KCOM

Hull City winger Marcus Maddison has admitted that the Leeds United fans were the best he had ever seen in his career.

The Tigers January signing has been previously hunted by the Whites in the past but moved to our East Yorkshire rivals towards the end of the window.

Maddison came off the bench for Hull, who preferred Josh Magennis and Malik Wilks in the final third compared to the ex-Peterborough star.

In a Q&A on his personal Instagram account on Friday, Maddison was asked which was the best support he had ever seen, and it was a straight forward decision for him.

“Gotta be Saturday for me, the atmosphere was mad,” he wrote.

“Leeds fans were the best I’ve seen in my career.”

Maddison also went on to admit that playing against the Whites was horrible as he only touched the ball once and chased shadows after coming off the bench.

It is a cliche that opposing fans like to throw at Leeds, but it is hard to disagree that the Whites have some of the best supporters in the country or even the world for that matter.

Mateusz Klich also commented on that after the 4-0 victory at Hull, sharing a video on his personal Twitter account of fans celebrating the win all the over in Australia.

Maddison certainly took notice, although many Hull fans didn’t seem best pleased that he admitted one of their rivals had the best support he had seen.
