Leeds United: Luis Sinisterra and Patrick Bamford available v Manchester City - Injury Expert

Leeds United are suffering from a whole raft of injury issues once again as they prepare for the return of the Premier League against Manchester City on December 28.

Injury Expert, Ben Dinnery, doesn’t expect them to last too long though with the likes of Luis Sinisterra, Patrick Bamford, Mateusz Klich and Jack Harrison all set to feature after recent knocks.

The same cannot be said for Stuart Dallas and Archie Gray, who look set to stay on the sideline with the suspended Tyler Adams for that one at Elland Road.

Sharing on the Premier Injuries website, Dinnery dropped the latest injury news to come out of Elland Road with a near full-strength squad said to be recovering well.

Bamford has recently jetted out to Germany for a small procedure on his groin, and his return to training in two weeks should make him available for matchday [Phil Hay].

Sinisterra has been troubled by a foot issue for the last couple of months now, with the World Cup break coming at the right time for him not to miss even more Premier League action.

Crucial.

This would be huge news if all of these players were available.

Bamford and Sinisterra would obviously be the main two, with the striker having yet another procedure on an injury with the hope likely that it can rid him of all of these issues.

Havgin the big-money Sinisterra available too would be perfect, with Harrison likely looking over his shoulder as Crysencio Summerville is now undroppable given his form.

Adams will also leave a gaping hole in midfield, so if Forshaw or Klich, or both could be available, Jesse Marsch would be happier with his options at Elland Road.

Leeds fans will be desperate to get back to Elland Road in three weeks’ time, and there will be no bigger test first up than Manchester City, who may be much rotated due to the World Cup.

The Whites on the other hand could have a squad that is hugely refreshed and raring to go, so this may be the perfect time to get stuck into the champions – bring it on.
