Leeds United loanee Manor Solomon messages Tottenham star James Maddison after win v Brentford

Leeds United loanee Manor Solomon sent a social media message to Tottenham Hotspur teammate James Maddison after their win over Brentford.

Maddison posted on his Instagram account [21 September] after scoring in Spurs’ win as he captioned the image of himself with “my club”.

Solomon, whose parent club remains Ange Postecoglou’s side after his season-long loan move to Elland Road, showed his support for his employers and for Maddison.

“Love it, brother”, the winger commented on the post, accompanied by a red heart emoji.

Manor Solomon looking for Leeds United loan impact

Following a frustrating spell of injuries and struggles to carve a way into the team at Tottenham, a loan to promotion-chasing Leeds United under healthy pressure is exactly what Solomon needs.

And apart from the back problem which sidelined him from Saturday’s win at Cardiff City, he has excelled in his short time at Elland Road.

Solomon is 25, out of contract in North London next summer and needs to play regular football, and it’s to his credit that he forced a way straight into Daniel Farke’s team ahead of a host of high-level attacking competition.

That competition is set to heat up even further as Largie Ramazani stepped in impeccably in South Wales over the weekend, scoring his first goal in Leeds colours after a £10m move from Almeria.

Farke may be light in some areas but is spolit for choice in the forward positions when everyone is fit – and Solomon will hope that includes himself as rapidly as possible after his positive start.
