Ben Parker singles out 'key player' for Huddersfield, claims Leeds must be careful

Ben Parker has singled out Huddersfield forward Karlan Grant as the one player for Leeds United to look out for on Saturday.

The LUTV pundit highlighted the danger of the attacker, who can play on the left as well as straight down the middle for the Terriers.

Parker admitted that Grant has done it in the Premier League, and will be a real threat at Elland Road for the Whites.

Huddersfield have only won four games away from home this season, and Parker claimed that will count for nothing on Saturday.

“Karlan Grant is a key player,” he told LUTV on the Scouting Report.

“The amount of goals he’s got as well for a team that struggles suggests the quality has done, he got goals for them in the Premier League.

“You’ve got to be careful with him. He knows where the back of the net is so he’s one to keep an eye on.”

Grant has played predominantly down the left for Danny Cowley’s men, meaning Luke Ayling will need to be at the top of his game on Saturday.

Luckily for the Whites, Ayling has been in great form in the past month. The 28-year-old actually completed the most accurate passes of any player in the Championship during February, and it might be Grant who is forced to defend more often at Elland Road.

Defensively, Ayling has been superb too. Only two players have completed more tackles and only Ben White has averaged more interceptions according to WhoScored so Grant could be in for a tough afternoon in each third of the pitch.
