Juventus ready to invest Leeds United cash for Weston McKennie before deadline day in transfer news
Juventus are gearing up to invest the cash they receive from Leeds United for Weston McKennie in RB Leipzig right-back Benjamin Henrichs, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg.
This bodes well for the Whites getting McKennie across the dotted line before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.
Plettenberg confessed that Henrichs will be a player to watch before deadline day, admitting Juventus could make a move as soon as McKennie’s move to Leeds United is completed.
“News Henrichs: Juve & AS Roma inquired about the 25 y/o right back from Leipzig in the last days,” said Plettenberg on Twitter. (27 January, 10:31 AM)
“Not easy for him with Simakan/Klostermann but Eberl wants him to stay. Juve could invest as soon as they sell McKennie to Leeds. Player to watch until Deadline Day.”

Closing in.
If Juventus are eyeing up how they are going to spend the cash they have received for McKennie then this almost confirms that a deal is nearing its end.
What a transfer window this has been for the Whites and Victor Orta and co certainly deserve some praise for the work they have done so far this month.
Max Wober and Georginio Rutter were signed to help solve the Whites’ problem positions at left-back and up top respectively.
Now, McKennie looks to be joining the Elland Road engine room ranks to fill the void that Mateusz Klich left at the club when he joined DC United earlier this month.
McKennie is arguably a better player than Klich and definitely has a better resume than the Pole, hopefully, he can have just as big of an impact in West Yorkshire as the maestro did.
The American midfielder will likely be available for the Whites’ next Premier League trip to Nottingham Forest on 5 February.
