Leeds United: Joel Robles sends message as confirmed Everton exit news emerges
Leeds United goalkeeper Joel Robles has sent Tom Davies a message after the Everton midfielder turned down a new contract at Goodison Park.
Robles is set to depart Elland Road at the end of the month, but according to Sky Sports (12 June), Leeds remain in negotiations with the Spaniard over a new deal.
However, The Sun reported on 10 June that the 33-year-old was being targetted by Everton ahead of the summer window.

Robles has since sent a message to Davies on Instagram on Friday 23 June, wishing him “good luck” on his next challenge.
Interesting
It will be intriguing to see what happens with the Spaniard.
If he returns to Goodison Park, he will be given a much healthier wage package and would be performing a similar role to what he was doing at Elland Road. He would be called upon for the odd cup game and spend the majority of the season on the bench behind Jordan Pickford. That’s certainly the easy way out for the veteran keeper.
However, if he’s eager to challenge himself and play first-team football, then remaining at Leeds could well be an option.

Illan Meslier looks almost certain to depart which could present a first-team chance to Robles. It’s up to him to decide if he wants to be part of a Championship promotion attempt. He’s at an age where he could be more than content with playing a backup role – which is what he’s done for the majority of his career.
Nevertheless, the Everton rumours are certainly one to keep a keen eye on heading into the summer window. A return to Goodison Park wouldn’t be a surprise.
In other Leeds United, a BT Sport pundit has delivered an “Incredible” verdict as a frontrunner has emerged for the Elland Road hot seat.
