Joe Rodon ‘disgusted at what he saw up close’ in Leeds United draw v Swansea City
Leeds United’s poor form in the Championship continued as they were held to a 2-2 draw at Elland Road by Swansea City.
Daniel Farke’s men were seemingly in for a good afternoon when Wilfried Gnonto’s goal put them 2-1 up in the 86th minute.
However, a travelling Swansea side nicked a draw from the jaws of defeat in the 96th minute thanks to Zan Vipotnik’s dramatic leveller.
Leeds have now managed to win just one of their last four games, and promotion back to the Premier League no longer looks like a certainty.

Joe Rodon was left disgusted by Meslier’s error v Swansea
Leeds goalkeeper Meslier was unable to keep Vipotnik’s late effort for Swansea out despite getting a hand to the ball.
Defender Rodon was particularly frustrated with the Frenchman, who had previously done well to deny Josh Tymon from the penalty spot.
As reported by Leeds Live [30 March], Rodon was spotted looking on in disbelief before shouting at the ground in disgust as Meslier cost his side two points.

Leeds have to get back to winning ways
The Whites are feeling the pressure in the battle for promotion as they have failed to perform at their best in recent weeks in which they have dropped points to inferior sides.
Opponent | Result |
Portsmouth (A) | 1-0 L |
Millwall (H) | 2-0 W |
QPR (A) | 2-2 D |
Swansea (A) | 2-2 D |
But the form of league leaders Sheffield United is unrelenting as they have now won four of their last five games since suffering a 3-1 defeat to Leeds at Bramall Lane on 24 February.
Meanwhile, third-place Burnley have managed to avoid defeat in the Championship since their 1-0 loss to Millwall on 3rd November and now sit level on points with the Whites.
Unless Farke’s men can turn their form around at the first time of asking when they face Luton on Saturday 5 April, they seem highly likely to slip behind the Clarets.
Failure to seal promotion to the Premier League could spell huge trouble for Farke, who remains adamant that his side will be competing in the top-flight next term.
