Jesse Marsch stunned by Leeds United maestro Tyler Adams growth

Jesse Marsch has been left stunned by Tyler Adams’ growth into the midfield maestro we see at Leeds United today and in the FIFA World Cup for the USA national team.

The American is having a breakthrough season for both club and country and looks set to take the footballing world by storm in 2023.

Marsch confessed that Adams has grown to be “so much more” than he ever expected and hoped for since the first moment they met.

“Now Adams is a man in full. He was reunited with Marsch when he transferred to Leeds last summer from RB Leipzig and has immediately endeared himself to the club’s faithful, Now the rest of the world is noticing Adams’ contribution, both on and off the field,” as quoted by ESPN.

“We were excited about the possibilities from the first moment we met him,” Marsch said as quoted by ESPN.

“However, he has grown to be so much more than even I had hoped.”

Phenom.

Work ethic, leadership qualities, in-game intelligence and a never say die attitude are just a few of the traits that have emerged from Adams’s classy arsenal.

He’s starting to exceed the expectations Whites fans had for him at Elland Road and the FIFA World Cup seems to have taken the 23-year-old to the next level.

Top performances like this on the World stage will only do his confidence wonders and could be the catalyst for similar world-beating outings for Leeds.

Marsch seems to be able to get the best out of Adams too, which bodes well for his future in a Leeds United shirt, seeing as his compatriot looks to be in the hot seat for a little while longer.

Nevertheless, Adams will likely outlast Marsch at Elland Road and the task is to keep hold of the American in West Yorkshire now for as long as possible, he will be vital to Leeds’ young side thriving in the coming campaigns.
