Leeds United: Jamie Shackleton could secure Milwall move by Friday
Millwall manager Gary Rowett expects a new addition by Friday as Jamie Shackleton’s loan move departure from Leeds United edges closer according to NewsAtDen.
The Athletic’s Phil Hay revealed (13 July) that the youngster is “waiting for the financials” to fall into place for a deal to be concluded.
However, Millwall website NewsAtDen (13 July) has been told by manager Rowett that he expects a new signing at The Den by the end of the week.

Time to make an impression
This is a make-or-break loan spell for the Leeds youngster.
The versatile 22-year-old has needed a loan spell away from Elland Road after making sporadic appearances in the Leeds United squad.
14 Premier League appearances is not enough for Shackleton at a vital point in his career.
His Leeds United contract is entering its final two years and a permanent exit could well be on the cards next summer if he doesn’t make an impact at Millwall.

If Shackleton is a hit for the London club then there is every chance he could be offered a new deal by Leeds’ hierarchy and really make an impression in the coming years at Elland Road.
There is plenty of pressure on the youngster to perform at The Den.
He will be fully aware of the stage his career is at and what a good loan spell could mean for his future aspirations.
If the youngster fails to make an impression it is likely that the Championship will be the level he finds himself at for the majority of his career.
If he thrives at The Den, then there is every chance that he could be an established Premier League player in the years to come.
