Leeds United: Jack Harrison sends Instagram message as Newcastle United transfer talk goes into overdrive

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison has taken to Instagram on Thursday as talk surrounding his future at Elland Road goes into overdrive this week.

Phil Hay reported this morning [21 July] that Newcastle are interested and value him at £25million, but the Whites value him at upwards of £35million.

That makes a move highly unlikely at this stage, with Harrison currently in Australia and being questioned on the links whenever the media get the opportunity.

Writing on his personal Instagram account on Thursday afternoon [21 July], Harrison shared his latest message with his mind on nothing but the football.

“Preparing for our last preseason game in Australia,” he wrote.

No chance.

This is one of those moves that simply make no sense.

Newcastle may have all of the money in the world, but they are very much in a similar position to Leeds in terms of ambition and progression in the Premier League.

Selling Harrison to them would be ludicrous unless an offer of £40million or more was to come and become basically impossible to turn down.

The winger may not be a huge name in comparison to what Raphinha was, but with the Brazilian moving on, there is certainly more responsibility on his shoulders.

If anything though, this latest post proves he is more than committed to the cause under Jesse Marsch, and the only thing on his mind right now if football, and certainly not a move away.

The new Premier League season is now less than three weeks away, and we expect Harrison to be in that starting line-up against Wolves.
