Leeds United: Jack Harrison increasingly likely to stay past January transfer window – Sky Sports
Sky Sports News has been told that it is increasingly likely that Jack Harrison will remain at Leeds United beyond the January transfer window.
It is reported that Leicester City are not giving up hope of signing the winger, but they would struggle to pay the £25million asking price at Elland Road.
Leeds would loath to lose Harrison to a relegation rival in the Premier League, and the player himself wants to stay in West Yorkshire where he has spent many years now.

Writing on their live blog [31 January, 09:25], Sky Sports shared the news that many fans have been waiting to hear at Elland Road this morning.
“Leicester City haven’t given up hope of signing Leeds winger Jack Harrison in the final few hours of this window – but it looks increasingly likely he will stay at Elland Road,” they wrote.
“Sky Sports News has been told that, with Financial Fair Play restrictions, Leicester would then struggle to pay the £25m Leeds would want for Harrison.
“And whilst a loan deal might be an option, it’s thought Leeds would be loath to allow Harrison to join a rival at the bottom end of the Premier League table, and Harrison himself is keen to stay at Elland Road.
“Whether there is an approach from another Premier League club in the final hours of the window remains to be seen.”

Get in.
Thank the lord for this.
Harrison is always going to attract interest given his skill set, but this should never have even gotten this far, never mind him being increasingly likely to stay.
The winger has endured a sticky patch of form, but his class is permanent and he proved that with a phenomenal strike from distance over the weekend in the FA Cup.
Jesse Marsch finally has options all around the pitch after a sensational January transfer window, there is no need to go and ruin it by letting a big-name player leave.
Competition is always welcomed in a squad that has not really had depth for years, so Harrison still has a huge role to play at Elland Road until his contract runs out in 2024.
Should the window slam shut with him still a Leeds player, contract talks have to start instantly.
This is still one to watch, fingers crossed nothing happens.
