Leeds United hopeful of completing one transfer before Wolves showdown
Leeds United are hopeful of completing one major transfer before the Premier League gets underway against Wolves on Saturday 6th August, according to Graham Smyth.
The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist shared that the Whites are looking for a new left-back as well as another striker at Elland Road, with Victor Orta hard at work.
Whoever it is being targeted is yet to be revealed either, with Leeds working hard to stay tight-lipped on potential new arrivals while the work is being done behind the scenes.

Writing in his latest column for the Yorkshire Evening Post in the past 24 hours, Smyth shared the latest on all things transfers coming from Elland Road.
“The Whites are hopeful of getting one of their targets through the door before the Premier League opener against Wolves on Saturday August 6 but are currently tight-lipped on the identity of targets and whatever deals are being worked on are yet to leak out,” he wrote.

Get it done.
At this very moment in time, the main priority simply has to be left-back.
Our only recognised option there was Leif Davis before he was sold to Ipswich Town in the past week, so Orta must have something up his sleeve to be confident of letting him go.
Junior Firpo is out until September at least, meaning we have a handful of Premier League games to get through with Pascal Struijk or Jack Harrison in that role for now.
Instead, Orta looks to be closing in on a new signing that could hopefully transform our fortunes in that area.
Hopefully, it can be done as soon as possible with the more training available to the new recruit before that first game, the better, with there being nothing like being thrown in the deep end.
The money is there to spend as we have seen with our pursuit of a new striker, but that may have to be placed on the backburner for the next week – time will tell.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites now want to sign this striker with a rival set to kickstart a major £30million+ transfer battle
