Leeds United hold positive weekend talks with Bayern Munich over £10million move for Marc Roca

Leeds United have held positive talks with Bayern Munich over a deal for Marc Roca over this weekend, according to the Daily Mail on Monday [13 June].

The newspaper has written in their print edition [13 June, pg. 75] that the Whites have been hard at work over the deal that could cost up to £10million.

Victor Orta has been hard at work at Elland Road and could make this his third completed deal of the summer before the window even officially opens.

Writing in their latest Window Watch, Simon Jones reported what has happened over the weekend as the Whites push forward for another signing.

“Leeds have held positive talks with German club Bayern Munich over a deal worth £10million for Spanish holding midfielder Marc Roca,” they wrote.

Get it done.

It is amazing how different things can look within three weeks.

Leeds had just beaten Brentford to secure Premier League survival, and everyone knew that big changes needed to be made in order to make sure it didn’t happen again.

We haven’t even been able to blink yet and Roca could be our third new signing of the summer following Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen to Elland Road.

The Spaniard will be dying to become a consistent starter after struggling to make that breakthrough at Bayern Munich, and Jesse Marsch will be delighted to offer that given his struggles in midfield.

Hopefully, that will be alongside Kalvin Phillips as exit talk surrounding him continues to swirl.

This is certainly one to watch but given that all talks have been described as positive, it should be sooner rather than later before this one gets done and officially announced, making it three new faces already.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites already have multiple new signings in the pipeline as Victor Orta gets ready to go into overdrive at Elland Road
