Leeds United helped massively by major player sale in next five days
Leeds United would benefit greatly from selling one of their star players in the next five days but the need to is not pressing, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The newspaper reported via their online edition (25 June) that a “major player sale” before 30 June would benefit the Whites’ financial reports.
Despite this, it is said that given how Leeds have conducted business this window so far suggests that selling a star may not be necessary.
After initial summer worries, they are said to be on “sound enough footing” ahead of the end of the footballing financial year.
Leeds United could keep stars this summer
When Daniel Farke’s side missed out on promotion at the hands of Southampton in the Play-Off final, many fans feared the worst.
The financial differences between another year in the Championship and the Premier League are huge and Leeds were on the worst side of that.
Now things seem to have levelled out with Leeds looking set to keep hold of some of their stars this summer.
With the investment from Red Bull coming in, there may be some added hope that the club can do some work in the transfer window.
Someone like Crysencio Summerville is still likely to garner interest from the Premier League and Europe, although it now seems that Leeds won’t be bullied to sell him.

This could now see Georginio Rutter and Wilfried Gnonto stay at Elland Road where it felt as if they were a shoe-in to leave this summer.
The news will be music to Leeds fans’ ears who will have feared the worst after not being promoted last season.
In other Leeds news, one Sky Sports pundit has mooted a £30m exit from Elland Road with Aston Villa to make their move.
