Leeds United already have replacement options lined up for the next week if needed, according to Tim Thornton.
The Sky Sports reporter has shared that the Whites aren’t currently expecting or planning for anyone to leave Elland Road between now and the end of the window.
If it was to happen though, Victor Orta and his team are mooted to have numerous options lined up as players that could come in to make a difference.
Speaking to GIVE ME SPORT in his latest interview, Thornton shared what may happen at Elland Road if it is needed before the deadline slams shut.
“As things stand, Leeds aren’t planning for anyone to go out,” he wrote.
“But if anyone does, they’ve also got options in terms of replacements and players that could come in.”
The more we listen to Jesse Marsch after each game and in each press conference, the more it sounds as though nothing will be happening at Elland Road.
We can complain, but we also much take into perspective the position we are currently in.
Leeds have started the season sensationally in the Premier League and have done so without the likes of Junior Firpo, Stuart Dallas, Luke Ayling, Liam Cooper and even Patrick Bamford in parts already.
Once those five fully recover, the Whites will have a brilliant in-depth bench available with plenty of experience after the numerous new signings already made.
All of our new signings have started brilliantly and likely made the club step back and have a re-think regarding if they actually needed to spend anything else.
Of course, things will change if someone else leaves so to hear we have plenty of options ready to move on is music to our ears as we plan for a moderately quiet end to the window.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites now want to sign this striker with a rival set to kickstart a major £30million+ transfer battle
