“I hope it can be resolved.”

Big ask

Given the current situation at Leeds and the interest in Gyokeres from other clubs, it will be a big ask for the Whites to win the race for his signature this summer.

He would be a superb signing for Leeds, and would undoubtedly be a key player in their fight for immediate promotion to the Premier League, with the West Yorkshire outfit crying out for a forward with his ability.

But that ability is exactly why other clubs are circling, with many of his potential suitors currently offering a more exciting proposal given how they are playing in the Premier League.

Moreover, the Whites do not have a director of football in place, meaning they are already behind the pack in the ongoing battle for the signature of the Swedish star.

With 21 goals from his 46 Championship matches this season, Gyokeres is currently on top of the world, and will definitely have his pick of various top clubs in the coming months.
