Leeds United footage emerges as Stuart Dallas and Djed Spence react to win v Middlesbrough

Footage has emerged of the Elland Road tunnel showing how Djed Spence and Stuart Dallas reacted to the Whites’ win over Middlesbrough, as shared by Leeds United.

The club shared the video on its Twitter account on Saturday (2 December) that shows the players heading back to the changing room after the 3-2 win at Elland Road, thanks to first-half goals from Dan James, Crysencio Summerville and Joel Piroe.

Both Spence and Dallas grabbed Ethan Ampadu and jumped around in the tunnel while cheering loudly before the Tottenham loanee ran past the camera to continue to celebrate the important three points for Daniel Farke’s side.

Leeds’ loudest trio are then followed by the likes of Illan Melsier, Joe Rodon, Piroe and Archie Gray all sporting big smiles across their faces having extended their winning run at Elland Road to seven consecutive matches this season.

One united group

It was always going to be hard for Farke to create a group that were united together this season after a summer of so much turmoil at Elland Road, but somehow the German has created a Leeds United team that is close-knit and love playing with one another.

The fact that Spence and Dallas are reacting that passionately to a result when they have played such little football this season shows how much this entire group cares about making it back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Leeds United

Spence is only at Elland Road for the season and it would be easy for him to rest on his laurels and pocket his paycheck before returning to Spurs at the end of the season, but it is clear that he wants to be a success at Leeds, even if only for a season.

This team want to win promotion and they are celebrating every point as they could prove to be incredibly important between now and the end of the campaign. Middlesbrough are by no means an early side to play against, but Farke’s side found a way to win.
