Leeds United fans will laugh at Jack Harrison claim away from Elland Road

Leeds United fans and Jack Harrison have no love lost between them.

The 28-year-old’s reputation among the Whites’ supporters took a hit as he decided to join Everton on loan after Premier League relegation in LS11.

Harrison is building his fitness away from Elland Road in Marbella after failing to start in any league matches for the West Yorkshire outfit this season.

Brendan Aaronson has impressed on the right-wing under Daniel Farke, giving the former Manchester City winger a lot of work to do to get into the starting lineup.

Leeds United have world-class player in Jack Harrison

Personal trainer Ethan Sonis believes Leeds have a world-class player in Harrison.

The ex-Inter Miami player, who’s worked with the likes of Sergio Aguero, feels there’s no one as prepared as the forward at Elland Road.

Sonis has hailed the English attacker’s commitment and hard work, but fans in LS11 will likely find it laughable to suggest he’s one of the world’s best players, given he can’t even string a few starts at the West Yorkshire outfit.

Speaking to Leeds Live on 12 October, the personal trainer said: “I want people to really know the true side of Jack. I know his history with Leeds in the past. But ultimately, he’s working extremely hard for the group, and I don’t see other players at Leeds as prepared as him, making the most out of everything.”

Sonis added: “I’ve had a long record of working with some world-class players, and he’s world-class when it comes to getting on the field, putting in the work and staying sharp.”

It wouldn’t be surprising to see Harrison leave Elland Road for the right price in the coming months, considering he isn’t really a key player for the Peacocks.

Jack Harrison faces uphill battle at Elland Road

While there may be an argument to start Harrison and get the best out of Jayden Bogle, Aaronson has done enough in recent weeks to keep his place in the team.

Even with Dan James and Willy Gnonto on the sidelines, Farke has still been reluctant to trust the English winger at Leeds, and there may be a good reason for it.

Considering the vitriol among the Whites’ supporters for the ex-Man City ace, it makes sense to keep him away from the limelight as he tries to win over the crowd.

Once the forward consistently contributes for the West Yorkshire off the bench, the Elland Road faithful may embrace him again.
