Leeds United fans will certainly be blown away by Mateusz Bogusz goal

Leeds United fans will certainly love attacking midfielder Mateusz Bogusz’s goal on loan for Ibiza in the Spanish second division against Malaga.

The 20-year-old moved to Elland Road in 2019 and has rightfully been sent on his second loan spell to continue progressing before fighting for a first-team berth at his parent club.

He would certainly have helped his chances after a stunning long-range strike on Sunday and may be hoping that Marcelo Bielsa took a look at it.

Knowing Bielsa, we’re certain that he’s seen the goal by now but looking at the ferocity of the strike, we’ve already watched it five times.

The way Bogusz cuts in from the left flank to drive the ball home is absolutely spectacular and we could use a player like him in the coming seasons.

Not only does he have an eye for goal, he’s also a terrific dribbler and has a fantastic engine on him which is understandable given Bielsa was in charge when he signed for the club.

The above strike was his second of the game, which shows that he’s already become a goal-scoring threat for his side and we’ll certainly be keeping an eye on the Spanish second division as Bogusz appears to be one for the future.

If he’s scoring goals like that one at 20, who knows the kind of player he’ll be in his mid-20s.

Thorp Arch is a fantastic place for youngsters to hone their skills and hopefully, he plays for our developmental squads next season.

Bielsa is known to keep an eye on the Under-23s and he could promote him to the first-team squad as early as next season if he’s happy with his application on and off the pitch.
