'Disgusting', 'No credibility' - Many Leeds fans unhappy with absence of one player from EFL TotW

Leeds United managed to keep the Championship’s best talisman quiet against Fulham, consistently frustrating Aleksander Mitrovic.

The Whites won 3-0 at Elland Road, and that saw them climb back to the top of the Championship after West Brom lost once again.

Mitrovic had an eventful afternoon at Elland Road, landing a vicious elbow on Ben White in the opening two minutes of the clash.

Goals from Patrick Bamford, Ezgjan Alioski and Jack Harrison saw Leeds cruise to victory at Elland Road as Marcelo Bielsa proved once again why he is the best in the Championship.

His decision to bring on Pablo Hernandez at half-time was one of the biggest reasons behind his side picking up all three points.

The EFL have shared their Championship Team of the Week on their official Twitter account on Monday with both Hernandez and Harrison claiming a spot.

It’s no surprise to see those two in this team, but there have been many question marks over the absence of White in the defence.

White made two tackles as well as winning a couple of aerial duels against the Serbian according to WhoScored. The Brighton loanee also made two interceptions and three clearances at Elland Road – impressive.

Many Leeds fans have reacted to the absence of White in the defence, claiming that all credibility of the team has been thrown out of the window with him missing.
