Leeds United: FA charge confirmed after Blackburn incident at Elland Road
Leeds United assistant manager Christopher John has been charged with misconduct after the 1-0 defeat against Blackburn on 13 April.
The FA has confirmed the charge through its spokesperson on X after he was handed a red card in the final seconds of the game at Elland Road.
It is alleged that John’s behaviour was “improper” and he now has until Friday 19 April to respond to the charges this week.

The final few minutes of the defeat to Blackburn were awful for everyone, as it felt as though our automatic promotion hopes were slipping away.
Of course, there is still everything to play for, but it is no longer in Leeds’ hands with only three games left to play in the Championship.
The Sunderland and Blackburn games were shocking on every aspect, picking up only one point when two wins would have the Whites sitting top with a four-point buffer to Leicester.
You could tell that the defeat got to the players too, who were arguing on the pitch and looking for answers that never came at Elland Road.
Next up are two away games against Middlesbrough and Queens Park Rangers, with six points likely to leave Leeds in the top two heading into the final weekend of the season.
Daniel Farke needs to come up with answers quickly, or he risks the dreaded play-offs next month.
In other Leeds United news, Daniel Farke was fuming at Archie Gray after the loss v Blackburn.
