Leeds United duo make EFL Championship Team of the Week with WhoScored ratings revealed
Leeds United enjoyed a thrilling week in the Championship as they raced to a 3-0 victory at Elland Road against Watford.
The EFL announced their Team of the Week and included two Whites attackers in the XI for their exceptional performances.
Georginio Rutter and Dan James were both named in the team as they played a key role in getting the three points with WhoScored rating the Frenchman as the “fifth-highest” with 8.71/10.

Rutter started the season slowly and there were many questioning whether or not he’s up to lead the line for the Whites.
When Daniel Farke played him as a striker and Joel Piroe at number 10, it did not work out and fans weren’t too happy.
However, in a few weeks, the Frenchman has already won over the supporters and is now becoming one of the most important players for Leeds.

He’s also built a solid understanding with Piroe and that’s only going to be beneficial for the Whites in the coming weeks and months.
Even James has recovered well from his injury and looks in top form – giving Farke plenty of options to choose from in the final third.
This may be the perfect time for them to face fellow promotion candidates Southampton who’ve suffered a horrendous start to the season.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that big European clubs have been keeping tabs on a Whites player for a while and are still willing to sign him.
