Leeds United discussions held overnight for Tyler Adams exit, Bournemouth announcement impending
Leeds United held discussions with Bournemouth overnight regarding the transfer of Tyler Adams, according to The Telegraph.
The newspaper reported on its website on Friday (18 August) that the midfielder has agreed to move to the Cherries.
Adams is expected to be announced as a new Bournemouth player on Friday evening or over the weekend, the newspaper added.

“The 24-year-old had a relegation clause in his contract at Elland Road but the exact figure was undisclosed,” according to The Telegraph. “He was subject of a bid on Monday which is understood to be before his clause expired.
“The deal rested on whether Bournemouth had met the terms of the clause or if Leeds could reject the offer. It is understood there were discussions overnight and it has been agreed that Adams can move to the Vitality Stadium.
“His medical tests are booked and it is hoped that he will sign on Friday evening or over the weekend.”

Great signing
Adams represents a great signing for Bournemouth, who definitely need players like the USA international in the door as they look to battle it out against the top sides in the Premier League.
The Cherries kickstarted their new league campaign with a 1-1 draw at home to West Ham last Saturday (12 August).
Up next for the south coast club is a very tough trip to Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp’s men hosting the Cherries at Anfield on Saturday (19 August).
Adams is certain to be watching on at home or indeed from Anfield amid his proposed transfer, with the midfielder having been out for some time with a hamstring injury.
The 24-year-old would have been very useful against a very attacking Reds side, but Adams missed the last 12 matches of the last Premier League season with the injury, and has yet to return to the pitch this time around.
In other Leeds United news, EFL protocol means one Whites man cannot play in their Championship clash against West Brom on Friday (18 August).
