Leeds United defender Ramus Kristensen savaged by Danish media v Finland
Leeds United defender Rasmus Kristensen, who’s on loan at Roma, has been savaged by the Danish press for his display v Finland on Sunday (10 September).
Despite winning the game 1-0, reputed Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten wrote in their print edition on Monday (11 September, Page 19) that it was a volatile display by the 26-year-old and that he should’ve stayed at home.
They gave the Whites 2022 summer signing a 0/10 rating for his performance during the game.
They wrote, “He should have stayed at home in Rome. Too volatile and even out of balance after an early yellow card.”
Not going well
Kristensen moved to Leeds last summer and while he wasn’t a name that excited most fans, there was hope of him becoming the first-choice right-back.

Luke Ayling had done well in the past but it was clear that he was declining and an upgrade was needed.
Kristensen had a few good games where it seemed like things were going well for him but it turns out that it was a false dawn.
Also, post relegation, he was among the first ones to jump ship despite not doing enough to keep Leeds up in the first place.
He has been left out of Roma’s Europa League squad and is being hounded by the media of his country.
It’s fair to say that his time since leaving Leeds hasn’t gone well and very few fans are likely to feel sympathetic towards him.
