Leeds United: Daniel Farke shares ‘fantastic’ talks with Paraag Marathe
Daniel Farke has revealed positive conversations with Leeds United chairman Paraag Marathe as the 49ers Enterprises look to bring stability to Elland Road.
The boss shared his delight that everybody at the club is on the same page and moving in the same direction both for short-term success and long-term goals.
Farke also shared that his conversations with the chairman have allowed him to remain focused on his task with the players, while he trusts what Marathe is doing behind the scenes.

Speaking to Leeds Live [5 December], Farke shared: “In the beginning, when we had the initial talks, obviously a lot because I wanted to see the whole picture and also how they want to lead the club, which way, which values and which processes.
“My gut feeling was really, really good about this and we were pretty much on the same page and the same ideas.
“Also how to bring stability and also, hopefully, mid and long-term success to the club, not just short-term. Everyone wants short-term, but also sustainability and what we want to create and we’re all on the same page.
“We found, and are still finding, a really good balance between being in touch and speaking about some general things, but I still have the time and the energy to concentrate on the daily work.
“Paraag leads this club in a general way. It’s fantastic to have those people around. This club is really blessed with lots of quality people. At the moment we just have to make sure, further on, we are there with the right decisions.”
Positivity breeds positivity
Strong communication between the manager and the chairman is always a huge positive for any football club. After the 49ers took over in the summer and Marathe was appointed, it was crucial for Leeds to forge that connection between the levels of the club.
If the boss has trust in those above him to do their jobs and benefit the club, it will allow him to retain his focus on leading the team on the pitch without any concern that things might start to go wrong for those behind the scenes.

For Farke to speak so highly of his chairman and the relationship they share will come as a boost to the morale of all around the club, as they can hold confidence that the best interests of Leeds are at heart and the club is moving forward together.
With a strong working relationship between all levels of the club, and success continuing on the pitch, it is a very positive time to be at Elland Road for all associated with the club.
In other Leeds United news, a player has been ruled out until Christmas in a new injury blow.
