Leeds United could sign another striker on transfer deadline day
Leeds United could sign yet another striker before the transfer window slams shut later on 31 January, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper has reported in its print edition [31 January, pg. 69] that another forward could be targeted, despite the arrival of Georginio Rutter earlier in the month.
Diogo Monteiro is expected to be announced imminently to follow the arrival of Weston McKennie on Monday 30, although the Whites may not be done there.

Writing in their deadline day breakdown for each Premier League club, the Daily Mail shared an interesting little snippet which could mean that business isn’t done yet.
“Defender Diogo Monteiro from Servette had a medical yesterday and should follow Weston McKennie from Juventus,” they wrote.
“Also want a striker.”

Wow.
This has been the biggest January transfer window that the club has potentially ever seen.
If Leeds are looking to sign another striker, then that would surely mean another outgoing is on the cards right now at Elland Road, just as we thought the squad was looking somewhat complete.
Jack Harrison is the first name that springs to mind with speculation going crazy around his future, with the Daily Mail today reporting that Leeds will listen to offers as Leicester circle.
That would surely be a mistake, the winger knows the club inside and out and is one of the most technically gifted players available to Jesse Marsch every single week.
A new contract for Harrison would be much better, even if that means no more new faces, with enough action already done for Leeds to be happy this month.
McKennie, Max Wober, Monteiro and Rutter would be a very successful month backed by Andrea Radrizzani and the 49ers Enterprises.
Let’s not ruin it now Leeds by doing something stupid.
