Leeds United could have to pay £40m if they want to sign Moses Simon
Leeds United may have received a blow in their hopes to sign FC Nantes winger Moses Simon with a new price tag reported, according to Own Goal Nigeria.
The 26-year-old is having a superb season in Ligue 1 at the moment with three goals and seven assists to his name already.
The Nigerian international was first scouted by the Whites before Newcastle United entered the race and were quoted a £25million price tag.

Own Goal Nigeria have been told by an agent close to the deal that Nantes could ask for up to £40million this summer if things go their way.
His scintillating displays at the Africa Cup of Nations has helped the French side’s cause for the heightened price tag which has put Leeds’ pursuit in jeopardy.
Edge of your seat talent

His direct running with the ball and electric change of pace is enough to cause any team problems when he’s in full flight.
Paris Saint-Germain found that out to their downfall as the Nigerian starred in a 3-1 win for Nantes and Mauricio Pochettino complimented him after the game.
“We didn’t handle the left side of their attack like we should. Simon had so much that we didn’t handle,” the Argentine said, as quoted by Own Goal Nigeria.
If Jesse Marsch is to lose Raphinha in the summer, then he has to look to replace him with an equally captivating player and Simon fits that bill to aplomb.
Their pursuit of the 26-year-old does however depend on their survival of the Premier League because relegation will almost certainly end their hopes of adding Simon to their roster.
