Leeds United could eye Noa Lang as alternative to Charles De Ketelaere
Leeds United linked Noa Lang appears to be on his way out of Club Brugge this summer along with Charles De Ketelaere.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Lang has good chances to leave this summer and is building a team of people to help him get his move.
Brugge are believed to be looking for a fee that could rise up to £21million, but a bid of a slightly lower valuation may also tempt them to sell.
Via Twitter, Romano wrote, “Noa Lang has good chances to leave Club Brugge this summer. Things are now moving with a host of top league clubs interested in signing him, with potential price tag around €20/25m.
“Key movements soon – Noa Lang, now building his ‘own team’ of representatives.”
According to LeedsLive reporter Beren Cross, Victor Orta is an admirer of Lang and the Whites could make a move for him this summer.
Given the numbers they’re supposed to be willing to spend on De Ketelaere, Lang is going to be a significantly cheaper alternative.
We will not be surprised if Leeds launch a £20millon bid for the Netherlands international as he could be the striker they need to help establish themselves as a top-half club.
Last season, in the Belgian top flight, Lang had 19 goal involvements in 31 games and in the campaign before that, he enjoyed 22 from 24 appearances.
The 23-year-old not only knows where the back of the net is but also helps bring others into the game and he would be a phenomenal addition in the final third.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites have submitted a fresh bid to sign their first-choice target this summer as a Champions League club has pulled out of the deal.
