Daniel Farke could welcome Patrick Bamford, Dan James and Connor Roberts back for Leeds United ahead of their final day clash against Southampton, according to Leeds Live.

After a terrible defeat last time out to QPR, the Whites will be desperate to turn things around as they welcome the Saints to Elland Road.

Leeds may have been handed a boost with Bamford set to return from injury after he missed the QPR loss, with James and Roberts potentially available too.

How did Leeds United miss Patrick Bamford v QPR?

It is safe to say that Leeds' clash with the R's went about as poorly as it possibly could. 2-0 down inside 25 minutes and 4-0 down by the final whistle, it wasn't good enough.

According to FotMob, the Whites mustered just four more shots than their opposition with the same number on target. This despite having 61 per cent possession throughout.

The defence was poor as only 0.72 xG was conceded despite QPR scoring four on the night.

That's not to say that the attack was any better as Joel Piroe stepped in for the injured Bamford and did little of note.

He lost the most duels throughout the match with nine and had just one of his three shots on target, two came from range [FotMob].

Comparatively against Middlesbrough, Bamford got on the scoresheet and had a 100 per cent shots-on-target ratio. He also won both of his attempted tackles as he worked back for the team [FotMob].

He adds a physicality and a target for Leeds going forward. Despite having just nine goal involvements this season, he was certainly missed against QPR.
