Leeds United may have Noah Okafor available for selection for their clash with Burnley.

Between Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Okafor, the duo have carried the Whites’ efforts in the final third, though it has certainly been more of the latter recently.

The Swiss international has scored seven Premier League goals for Leeds this season, including three in his last three appearances.

However, as has been the case many times this season, he emerged as a doubt for the encounter with Burnley, and those fears were amplified by recent training footage.

But those fears may have been subdued just as quickly as they emerged, with Okafor potentially set to make the squad on Friday night.

Long gone are the days of waiting for the manager to reveal the team news; many fans now just await to check Instagram on the day of the game.

And for good reason, with various Leeds players having shared their own fitness updates with bespoke matchday graphics hinting at their inclusion.

On this occasion, Okafor has shared one via his own platforms, suggesting that he is available for selection on Friday night.

Given his recent form, it could be a huge boost for Leeds, who need to secure all three points against the already-relegated Clarets, especially with both West Ham and Tottenham having won their recent fixtures.

Leeds could also have Jaka Bijol available

Jaka Bijol has also shared a post to his own Instagram story, having been another of the doubts in Daniel Farke’s mind.

The Slovenian has been a rock at the back for Leeds, and his inclusion could be key to keeping Zian Flemming quiet, with the Dutchman having already scored nine goals this season.

Should both of them be available, then Leeds will have no excuses not to come away with all three points.
