Leeds United could announce Brenden Aaronson transfer in ‘matter of days’ – report
Leeds United could announce the blockbuster signing of RB Salzburg playmaker Brenden Aaronson in a “matter of days”, according to James Marshment.
The TEAMtalk editor shared the news after it was reported that the Whites had agreed a fee with the Austrian following survival in the Premier League on Sunday [22 May].
Leeds will pay up to around £24million for the American international, after failing to get a move over the line back in January and Victor Orta will finally get his man.

Writing on his personal Twitter account alongside the story, Marshment reported that a deal could be brought to us much sooner than we all thought.
“A deal for Brenden Aaronson could be announced in just a matter of days,” he said.
Here we go.
This is going to be the start of a very special summer.
The feel-good factor in West Yorkshire is incomparable right now, and Andrea Radrizzani looks as though he is only going to add to that with some big deals.
Getting Aaronson across the line early will leave two-to-three months to get other transfers over the line, with many more deals needed to get this squad competitive.
A new striker, full-back depth and for crying out loud, a new central midfielder are also needed before we kick off in the Premier League again next season.
Aaronson is perfect for this side at Elland Road though, with his non-stop running as well as his international quality in the final third centrally something that will add loads to the team.
Jesse Marsch will be delighted too, with someone he knows very well being brought in which will help his style progress even further with the more time he has.
Let’s get this done and announced.
