Leeds United: Connor Roberts injury update after new footage in Wales v Poland
By Max Wilkins.
Leeds United may still have Connor Roberts available for the trip to Watford, despite his injury in Wales’ defeat to Poland, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
As shared by Joe Donnohue, the on-loan Burnley defender was seen “moving and walking under his own steam” after Wales failed to secure a place at the European Championships.
It is unclear if he will be ready for the trip to Watford on 29 March, as Daniel Farke looks to maintain top spot in the Championship, but he has not been ruled out yet.
Leeds United handed potentially positive Connor Roberts injury update
Since making the move to Elland Road in January, Roberts has made a positive impact there is no doubt.
With eight appearances so far for the Whites, he has registered a goal and an assist from full-back as he has taken the move in his stride.
Archie Gray has been superb at right back when called upon but having Roberts as excellent competition certainly hasn’t hurt.
The international break will affect Leeds’ backline as Junior Firpo travelled for international duty with the Dominican Republic. With him not returning until late this week, there was a possible chance for Roberts to fill in at left-back.

It will certainly come as positive news to hear that the Welshman has been seen moving freely “despite strapping on his right leg.”
Should he not be available for the clash against Watford, Sam Byram is likely to step up for his 20th start of the season.
In other Leeds United news, the club have now made moves in order to secure their first permanent transfer of the summer.
