Leeds United confirmed team news v Tottenham: Patrick Bamford a doubt, three players out
Sam Allardyce has delivered a Leeds United injury update ahead of the Whites’ final Premier League clash against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.
Leeds are definitely without Luis Sinisterra, Stuart Dallas and Tyler Adams for the clash against Ryan Mason’s side.
Allardyce has since revealed in his latest press conference that Rodrigo has trained ahead of the clash against Spurs and that a decision on Patrick Bamford will be made tomorrow.
“I’ll gamble on anyone’s fitness if they want to play, if I think they can make a contribution to help us win,” said Allardyce (Phil Hay, Twitter, 26 May).
Against the odds
Stranger things have happened, but it’s going to take an almighty effort for Leeds United to secure their Premier League status on Sunday. All Allardyce’s side can do is beat Spurs and hope for the best. If they become distracted with ongoings elsewhere they will be punished.

Tottenham have endured a tough season but they have quality all over the pitch. Harry Kane can win a game on his own when he wants to. Dejan Kulusevski is a world-class winger and Heung-min Son has been one of the Premier League’s best in the past.
But, as we all know, Spurs have been in dire form of late. A fast start from Leeds could see Ryan Mason’s side crumble, much like they have done in previous weeks. They simply may not be up for the fight. An early goal could be vital. It would reverberate around Goodison Park, where Everton know they need to beat Bournemouth. The pressure is somewhat off Leeds and they must use it to their advantage.
In other Leeds United news, one Whites ace may be the first “high-profile” Elland Road exit this summer, with talks underway and a bid on the cards for the player.
