Leeds United confirmed team news v Leicester City: Pascal Struijk ruled out
Jesse Marsch has revealed his Leeds United team news ahead of the Premier League clash against Leicester City on Thursday.
Pascal Struijk is set to miss the game along with Stuart Dallas and Archie Gray with Adam Forshaw now close to recovery but still ruled out.
Struijk has played out of position at left-back all season and Marsch is expecting him to return for the weekend.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Marsch said, “Adam is coming back from injury, Stuart still injured. Archie Gray, too. Pascal Struijk has picked up an injury and won’t be available for tomorrow, but we’re hopeful he will be available for the weekend.”
Ready to win
After Marsch’s team news we see no reason why Leeds will not fancy their chances to pick up maximum points on Thursday.
Rodgers appears to be fighting a losing battle at the King Power and it’s time for the Whites to add to their misery.
A loss would be massive for Leeds as it would put them right in the relegation dog fight, especially if Aston Villa and Southampton pick up wins.
Leeds have not won a league game since August and that’s not a good record even though some of their performances merited the three points.
At the end of the day, this is a results business and it’s time for Marsch to pick up at least a couple of wins before the World Cup.
He surely will use the gap to work on tactics but it won’t be the same with all the players not being there at the club.
In other Leeds United news, a Sky Sports pundit has delivered Jesse Marsch’s “sack” verdict after what he heard this month.
