Juventus revolution to begin with Leeds United finally closing in on Weston McKennie transfer
A Juventus revolution is set to begin early with Leeds United finally closing in on the transfer of Weston McKennie, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper has reported in its print edition [28 January, pg 6] that the farewell of McKennie from the Old Lady of Turin is imminent.
A fee of £21m to £26m with bonuses is said to be the fee Leeds United will be paying Juventus for the services of the American international maestro, after an initial loan move.

“Hot hours also for Weston McKennie, always for getting closer to Leeds,” as quoted by La Gazzetta dello Sport print edition [28 January, pg 6]
“We are moving towards an operation which between loan and redemption (mandatory or conditional) should guarantee Juventus between 25 and 30 million with bonuses. The now imminent farewell of the US midfielder will anticipate the midfield revolution scheduled for the summer.”

Let’s go.
It’s looking ever more likely that McKennie will be joining Leeds United with the maestro having his heart set on a move to Elland Road.
This transfer saga feels like it’s been dragged on for an age and I’m sure all parties involved will just want to get this over the line now.
McKennie should be ready and available for a Premier League crunch match against Nottingham Forest, one which the Whites must win.
The American’s classy attributes will be needed in that one and games don’t come much tougher than a debut at the City Ground.
This is all bearing in mind that the maestro completes his move over the weekend, something which he is now expected to do.
Jesse Marsch will be licking his lips at the prospect of Tyler Adams and McKennie forming a formidable partnership in the middle of the park for Leeds United.
With luck, the duo can find some of their international form that looked scintillatingly good at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
