Leeds United, Chelsea and Real Madrid all linked with hiring Marcelo Gallardo
Leeds United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and PSG have all reportedly been linked with hiring former River Plate boss Marcelo Gallardo this summer.
According to the Athletic [21 April], the Argentine is a wanted man and will be waiting to pick his new side either in the summer or whenever he wants to.
He is on a sabbatical after his contract at River Plate ended a few months ago.

Leeds bound?
The Whites will certainly be looking at different managers in both scenarios and even if they stay up, they will want to hire someone who can take them to the next level.
This of course will depend on the new owners and whether or not they decide to keep the likes of Victor Orta and Angus Kinnear on board.
Most Leeds fans would want a complete change as they will that the duo along with Andrea Radrizzani have let down the club.

Gallardo would be a pretty good appointment as he plays a good brand of football and has his teams punching above their weight.
He’s a three-time South American Coach of the Year award winner and has had multiple trophies to his name since he began his managerial career in 2011.
Chelsea appear to be closing in on Mauricio Pochettino while Real Madrid could have other names on the list so Leeds should try whatever they can to bring him in.
In other Leeds United news, a Whites player has a potential offer on the table and could seal his permanent Elland Road exit this summer.
