Leeds United are in safe hands at right-back with Jayden Bogle and James Justin.

Daniel Farke wants to be backed at Elland Road after surviving Premier League relegation and hopes to keep his best players at the Whites ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

The German manager has shared his ambitions at the West Yorkshire outfit and clearly won’t settle for less as he looks for backing from 49ers Enterprises in the upcoming transfer window.

Considering the quality Bogle and Justin possess, the Peacocks may be able to cash in on the former Sheffield United star and reinvest it in the squad.

While Paraag Marathe will surely want to give Farke the finances required to strengthen the squad, he may have to sacrifice a few pieces for a cash injection.

James Justin a long-term solution for Leeds United

Bogle was signed by Leeds for around £5million in 2024 and his value has surely skyrocketed since then, presenting the American owners with an opportunity to make a hefty profit on him.

The 25-year-old Englishman’s technical qualities have seen him register one goal, provide two assists, create seven big chances and complete 0.5 dribbles per game in 33 Premier League appearances, as per Sofascore.

When it comes to Bogle’s 28-year-old compatriot, who used to play for Leicester City, he might not be as good going forward, but he has still scored two goals, provided one assist and created four big chances in 27 top-flight matches for the Whites.

Justin has had to put in more of a defensive shift playing as a right-centre-back, keeping five clean sheets and averaging one interception, 1.9 tackles, 3.1 clearances and 2.4 ball recoveries per game.

While Bogle’s numbers are similar to his teammates in terms of the aforementioned defensive stats, he hasn’t won a majority of his duels.

As for Justin, when it comes to ground duels and aerial duels, he comes out on top more often than not, highlighting his strengths at the West Yorkshire outfit.

Daniel Farke sends Elland Road ultimatum

Farke wants to see what the 49ers have in store for Leeds as he’s seemingly contemplating his future in LS11.

The German manager is expected to hold discussions with the American owners over their multi-year plan for the Whites after securing Premier League safety.

Farke doesn’t look keen on being involved in another relegation battle next season, and that will certainly require some astute recruitment from the West Yorkshire outfit’s hierarchy to assemble a competitive squad.

Bogle can undoubtedly be someone the Peacocks can use to give the 49-year-old head coach what he wants in other areas of the pitch in the summer.
