Leeds United break unwanted club record after dreadful defeat vs Brighton
Leeds United’s abysmal away record has stooped to new lows following their defeat against Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
Brighton’s 3-0 win over Leeds on 1 November at the AMEX Stadium has left fans furious with the inability to create chances away from home.
Leeds dropped to 16th place with the defeat, yet their gap over the relegation zone has been cut to five points ahead of the last international break of the year.
Daniel Farke is under increasing scrutiny, and worries over the lack of attacking reinforcements in the summer have been brutally exposed many times this season.

Leeds create history after failing to score vs Brighton
Leeds have failed to score in four of their five away matches this season, and it has contributed to a fairly woeful start on the road.
Relegation is certainly a possibility at Leeds, and if they don’t change their ways immediately, Farke‘s side will be in for a long end to the season.
The defeat on the South Coast marks the first time the Peacocks have failed to score in eight consecutive away games against the same team.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin continues to disappoint up front as he has now hit five games without a goal.
Leeds’ top scorers are Noah Okafor and Joe Rodon with two each, and after ten games, that’s incredibly worrying for a side that is desperate to avoid relegation.
What’s frustrating for supporters is that Leeds have performed well at Elland Road this season, yet they haven’t been able to translate their form at home into results on the road.

Whilst Leeds aren’t the favourites to be relegated, they’ll need to be active in the January transfer window to give themselves the best chance.

Leeds must go all out for a top-quality striker in January
The transfer window started in promising fashion for Leeds, and the signings of Anton Stach and Sean Longstaff have been excellent.
However, it became apparent that there was a severe issue in the final third, and despite Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha joining the Whites, it was clear that more was needed.
Including Joel Piroe, all three strikers have two goals combined, and that is an incredibly worrying stat for Leeds fans.
Even Burnley and Sunderland, the other promoted teams, have players who have already proven that they could potentially reach double figures in goals this season.
It’s imperative that they go all out to buy a striker in January; otherwise, Farke’s job will be in peril, and Leeds may drop back down to the Championship.
