Amazon pundit Paul Robinson lauds Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch

Amazon Prime pundit Paul Robinson sang the praises of Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch before kick-off in Thursday evening’s game against Leicester City.

Marsch was giving an interview and Robinson was amazed by the exuberant Leeds United boss and how open he was to the questions at the King Power.

Robinson said Marsch was “infectious” and believes he’s picked up his intensity from former boss Marcelo Bielsa despite it being very hard to fill his shoes.

Speaking on Amazon Prime’s live broadcast (20 September 19.31) Robinson was full of praise for Marsch’s pre-match interview.

“What an interview from him, open and honest, I thought it was a fantastic interview from him,” he said.

“I think he is infectious, I think you see his passion and the thing he has picked up from Marcelo is his intensity.”

High praise.

The Leeds United boss received the highest praise from Robinson and there’s no doubt that the American tactician has an abundance of charisma.

He now needs to translate this passion into a string of good results for Leeds and this starts at the King Power Stadium against Leicester on Thursday evening.

Leeds have lacked this passion in certain Premier League outings but looked a real threat on Sunday afternoon against Arsenal.

Marsch certainly can get the team playing some lovely attacking football but it’s been seen far too irregularly this campaign to gain any real plaudits.

The American has kept faith in Patrick Bamford up top tonight, which shows his undying faith in the forward, hopefully, this big decision can pay off for the Whites this evening.

Anything thing other than three points against a struggling Leicester side will be seen as not good enough, Leeds has the chance to put things right.

In other Leeds United news, the club will refuse to release Luis Sinisterra to play in Colombia’s World Cup warm-up
