Leeds United are now considering sacking Javi Gracia after the 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth on Sunday 30 April, according to the Telegraph.
The newspaper has reported on its website that the board have been locked in Monday talks over the future of the Spaniard, despite only hiring him in February.
Leeds are only one point above the relegation zone as things stand, and face tough games against Manchester City, Newcastle, West Ham and Spurs to finish the season.
No Surprise.
Wow, this just proves how bad this season has turned out.
After a positive first month, things were looking up, but they could not have gotten much worst with it still being a shock that Leeds don’t find themselves in the bottom three.
Andrea Radrizzani, Angus Kinnear and Victor Orta have to take huge blame too, but ultimately, it is the manager who has to try and change things.
Gracia has lost complete control of this team, with his tactics and selection being jeered consistently now and fans even chanting for him to make substitutions in games.
With four games left, it appears that the Leeds board are getting desperate and may be hoping for yet another new manager bounce to somehow survive.
It is looking unlikely, but with talks now taking place in the boardroom, it looks as though we could be seeing a new man in the dug out at The Etihad Stadium next weekend.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay has shared a surgery update that could rule another Elland Road ace out for months.
