Leeds United: Bellingham wowed by new Archie Gray announcement from Elland Road
Sunderland wonder Jobe Bellingham has hailed Archie Gray and Leeds United after the midfielder signed a new deal to remain at Elland Road until 2028.
It was announced via the official Leeds website on 16 January that Gray had committed his future to the club by signing a new deal, and Bellingham took to Instagram to praise the 17-year-old.
The Sunderland ace was joined by several others in congratulating Gray on the deal, including Stuart Dallas, Fabrizio Romano, Yannick Bolasie and hundreds of Leeds fans flooding to his comments.

Sharing the news via Instagram on 16 January, Gray wrote: “Delighted to sign a new deal at my boyhood club, excited for the future. MOT.” Bellingham simply replied “Class” with an applause emoji.
Starting to make waves
Any player starting as often as Gray has for a club the size of Leeds would be attracting attention, but it’s the manner of his performances and the impact he has on Daniel Farke’s side no matter where he is asked to play that has gathered extra attention.
The news that he has signed a contract extension at Elland Road is a huge boost to the club and to the fans, with the likes of Crystal Palace, Everton and Liverpool linked to a possible deal to sign him in the summer.
A £40million price tag was mentioned previously, but the new deal ensures Leeds have the bargaining power should any deal come to light, and his commitment to the club will be a huge factor in his remaining for the foreseeable future.

It is evident from the overwhelming responses to the news that Gray is becoming a big name in England, especially in the Championship, and if he can help Leeds win their fight for promotion, his reputation will only continue to grow.
In other Leeds United news, the club want to sign a senior Tottenham defender.
