Leeds United attacker Helder Costa transfer update emerges with super agent in the mix
Leeds United attacker Helder Costa reportedly has a super agent who’s looking out after his interests this summer transfer window.
According to Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Graham Smyth [14 June], if the Angolian wants to leave Elland Road as he’ll return from his loan spell, he will be allowed to go.
He was out on loan at Al-Ittihad this past season and he ended up winning the league title under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Smyth wrote, “Helder Costa is actually an interesting one because he has twice won the Championship and he was an important player when Bielsa led them to a title. But Leeds didn’t want him and farmed him out.
“He’s just won a title, out on loan, in a league that is about to be awash with even more money than before.
“He has a ‘super agent’ looking after his interests and if he doesn’t fancy a return to Leeds he will get a move.
“Let’s see what he fancies. He is, though, still a Leeds player until next summer.”
Sell him
Costa has just a year left on his current deal so this is the last summer Leeds can expect to get something from his sale.
Thus, it’s ideal to cash in on him and he’s had a relatively good year in Saudi so they may want him back for next season.
Given the league’s abundance of riches, they could pay over the top for him and that fee could be too good for Leeds to turn down.

Given their current crop of attackers, Costa will perhaps be extremely low down on the pecking order and even with few players expected to leave, he’s unlikely to be a starter.
He may have won the Championship with Leeds but it feels like the ship for him being a regular at Elland Road has sailed.
It’ll be interesting to see what his super agent does and if he sees Leeds aren’t really keen on keeping him, he could look for destinations right away.
In other Leeds United news, a BBC pundit has been left stunned as Phil Hay has dropped a fresh update on who the Whites are considering bringing in as manager this summer.
