Liam Cooper can remind Leeds United of promotion feeling
Cooper returning to Elland Road will be a chance for him to show his appreciation to his former club, with the supporters having the opportunity to do the same.
Although injuries had an impact on the end of the 33-year-old’s time with the West Yorkshire outfit, supporters will still hold him in high regard after what he did across 10 seasons with the club.
Furthermore, his return could be a boost for the supporters ahead of what will be a big second half of the season.
The former captain played a big part in getting his side promoted to the top flight in 2019-20 and continued to be a regular part of the side as they competed in the top flight, as well as sticking with the club after their relegation back to the Championship.
The Whites have an excellent captain this term in Ethan Ampadu, who is just returning from injury, and surely seeing their former skipper will give Leeds supporters the hope they need that they can achieve their aims again under Daniel Farke.
In other Leeds news, the Whites need to prove Adam Pope wrong and give Daniel Farke a January gift to help them earn Premier League promotion.
